Sunday Shrimp Boil (Video Clip)

Corn, Potatoes, Sausage, and Shrimp! Oh my!!

A frequent get together our friends host is  an old fashioned Shrimp Boil.  Beers in hand a large pot is filled with sausage, corn, potatoes, garlic cloves and most importantly, pounds and pounds of shrimp!!!!  Pour it out on wax paper,  and dig in no silverware needed.  Serve with Garlic butter and hot sauce.   Its also good to bake a crusty loaf of white bread to smear the garlic on.   This will feed about 15 - 20 people, so it's definitely a party recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of Old Bay Seafood Seasoning
  • 3 packages (16 oz) of kielbelsa sausage, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 5 lbs of Red Potatoes, quartered
  • 2 onions, quartered
  • 10 cloves of  whole garlic, halved
  • 8 Ears of Corn, cut into thirds
  • 9 - 10 lbs of  SHRIMP!!!
