Super Easy, Quick Pizza Dough
Chicken and Asparagus pizza with Fresh Mozzarella |
Pizza is one of my favorite things, I never get tired of it truly. However to order pizza, or even buy frozen is pretty expensive. I've found a really quick and dirty recipe to make my own pizza at home, without having to wait for the dough to rise. The only item to be sure to have on hand that you might not have on hand already is active yeast.
Ingredients:
- 3 Cups all purpose flour
- 1 (.25 oz) package active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 1/4 cup warm water
Steps:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
1.) Combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl
2.) Mix in oil and warm water
3.) Roll out on to a pizza pan. Bake for 5 minutes.
4.) Remove from oven and let cool for few minutes. Using a fork or spoon, flatten the middle of the dough to form a a crust around the outside of the dough.
5.) Fill with toppings and return to the oven for 20 minutes.
